Field notes
- 01 · Faction Standing: Gain reputation with major factions (including Red Common Folk, Acolytes, and Mechanists) by completing contracts rather than searching for skill points.
- 02 · Night Raid Awareness: Visibility drops drastically after nightfall in Zalesye; equip weapon flashlights and avoid open sprint routes.
- 03 · Visual Feedback Note: In Early Access the current Early Access build, equipped body armor modifications do not alter character sprite models; stats apply correctly in the inventory tab.
- 04 · macOS Support Status: The native Mac build is currently undergoing Apple App Store review and will be released in an upcoming patch.

Questions players ask
Does Scavland have a character skill tree?
No. Scavland deliberately avoids arbitrary skill point trees. Your survivability is determined by tactical positioning, faction reputation unlocks, and weapon attachment configurations.
Why doesn't my character sprite change when equipping armor?
In the current Early Access build, armor sprites are purely internal inventory assets; developer notes confirm visual cosmetic layering is queued for future updates.
Is multiplayer coop supported at EA launch?
Early Access launches with focused singleplayer survival. Multiplayer coop and companion AI are planned for later roadmap milestones.
